Hi, I’m Natalia.
Somewhere along the way, I became the person my family and friends called with money questions. How do I build credit if I’m new to the U.S.? Why did my score drop when I paid my bill? What am I supposed to do with my 401(k)?
Those questions kept coming up in conversations with people from different parts of my life. I realized how many people in my community had been quietly wondering the same things, without getting answers they could trust.
Sometimes, the people offering help were more interested in selling them something than helping them understand their options.
